How to draw a leaf

Hope you all liked my previous tutorials. Today, I will be teaching you how to draw a simple leaf. This is gonna be one of my easier tutorials that I will have up here, as the steps are very easy to follow. Just keep reading and you will soon find out how to draw your own leaf.

Draw a single diagonal line on your sheet of paper.

Draw a curved line on the left side of the diagonal line like in the example shown to the right.

Draw the same exact curved line again, but on the right side this time.

Now, draw a little step at the top of the leaf drawing.

Now you can begin drawing the leaf's veins. Make them slightly curved on either side of the leaf.

When you finish drawing the veins of your leaf, you can begin drawing clefts between each of the leaf veins. An easy way to do this is to erase the ends of the leaf veins and draw small clefts on the sides of it. If you're having trouble with this step, just look at the image to the right in order to get a better understand of what I'm talking about.

After this step, that is basically all there is to it!
